I was wandering around Raleigh the other day and a little message popped up in Google Maps alerting me that I had AR navigation!  AR, if you’re not aware, stands for Augmented Reality and it’s the technology that many are familiar with in Pokemon Go.  I was so excited!  I turned it on, held my phone up until it figured out where I was, then every time I held my phone up, it would have an arrow over what it saw on the screen, telling me which way to turn and where my destination was.  I presume in the future you will be able to hold that same phone up to an establishment, learn more about it, see it’s menu, etc.  This is one huge step for awesomeness!
