So you’re confused about social media stories. You’re not sure exactly what they are, how they work, and why you should care about them. Good question. For one thing, people use stories to update people on what they’re currently doing, seeing, and experiencing at the moment– yes, without having to worry about clever captions and editing because it’s going to disappear after 24 hours anyway! 

You can provide customers an authentic sneak peek into your business and who you are as a brand. Build interest and intrigue! If you’re a cafe, you can post videos of the kitchen where the burger patties are grilling and the bestseller brownies are baking. If you have a delivery service, you can post a story that shows that the packages are ready to be picked up to be delivered. 

The best part about it? It encourages engagement! You can get to know your client and know what they’re thinking because it’s so easy to respond to you now! Simple Yes or No polls can give you insights on what your customers want. The Questions feature can help your customers ask about your brand and for you to slide easily into their dms. You can use the Countdown feature to let people know when your sale is coming up. You can link to your website, share your business’ locations, add hashtags, share your recent posts and other people’s posts, and so much more!
